Hi, my name is Ella.. hmm I don't know Alison that much but I would like to know more about her music first. So I was thinking of buying her record "one cell in the sea". I already searched over google if it's available in the malls here (Philippines) but then I can't find exact results. So if anyone can help me in buying it. oh and i can't afford buying it in the internet because mom won't let me to :( so thank you ^^ xoxo

A Fine Frenzy can do no wrong but has anybody heard Alison's first CD (when she was known as Alison Monro)? It is the EP release "Monro" which features an 18-year-old Alison and a group of LA musicians.
It really is very good, though she has obviously honed her skills since then :)
I can provide some active links if anybody is interested in hearing it?

I'm travelling to California from Australia in August, this is AFF's home town so I'm hoping to find her playing a live gig. I can't find much information on her official page or her FB and Myspace. If someone could shout out if they hear of where and when she's playing around august and september that'd be awesome!

CoCo is like an insta-vacation for me. Even if it's raining it feels like the sun is coming out and everything is good in the world. Liar Liar is the perfect summer afternoon song, and Rangers always brings up good memories of the concerts, because that's the song she always closes with :)

Some time ago, I was looking for a forum to talk about A Fine Frenzy with other fans. However, I didn't find exactly what I was looking for. While this wiki is a good place to collect information about AFF, I wanted to be part of a classical forum. A forum where the community can talk about their concerts and songs, share pictures as well as memories, and all those things.

Hi there!
I hope these threads are something like the discussion pages in MediaWikis.
Well, concerning this song: Alison told a story about this song at the concert in Baden-Baden on September 18th. Too bad that it was cut out in last night's TV transmission of the concert and I don't remember all the details...
What I remember: She was in a hotel once and met a rather important person there (I think it was a minister). When asked to play a song for him, Alison decided to play "The minnow and the trout". Maybe someone who was at a concert where she told this story can correct and complete it and add it to the page.
