Review by: Aimee Age: 21
Home town: Fredericksburg, VA Have been a fan since: 2006 Went to the show with: My 24 year old sister. |
My concert shots:

| | I was at a table to the right of the stage, close enough to see her and the cute figurines on her piano!
Pre-show happenings: Ferras, who I only caught the last couple seconds of his music, and Chris Stills who was AMAZING. But the anticipation of waiting for A Fine Frenzy was killing me!
I'd describe the crowd as not quite as excited as they should have been! I didn't want Ali to think we didn't LOVE her! Onstage antics: I loved the dancing during Borrowed Time. So Cute!
Onstage set design: The piano in the middle, drums to the right and synthesizer to the left. Simple design but enough room to move around.
Onstage fashion: Alison wore a beautiful blue empire dress with ruffles around the collar that was soooo cute and amazing orange pumps that I coveted like CRAZY. The outfit really made her hair color POP. Her style is so reflective of her music and I wish I had the fashion sense that she did.
Offstage antics: She signed autographs after the show and it was such a pleasure to meet her.
Backstage antics: ?
The highlight of the show was when she came back out after the encore and sang Near to You. The lights went down and it was so quiet in the venue. It was a really emotional performance. Also, when she played songs from her new album! AMAZING! Most awesome song/performance: Across the Universe. I know it's not her song, but she sings it so well. Borrowed Time was good as well, I was never a huge fan of the song until I saw her perform it.
Best heard live: The Minnow and the Trout.
Weakest song: WHAT?? BLASPHEMY!
Wish they would have played: More songs from the new album!!!!
Quote of the night: "Sing with me"
My review in one word: BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!

Review by: Laura (AFF's #1 Fan) Age:will be 27 in 3 days Home town: Roanoke, Virginia Have been a fan since: August 2007 Went to the show with: My boyfriend | | I watched the show from (front row, balcony, etc.)...The front row a little to the left!!!!!!!!
Pre-show happenings: I bought a shirt, got a poster, ate a few fries, and watched opening bands Ferras and Chris Stills. Chris was good! I met a few new friendzies too! Allan, and Amanda! Thanks for the poster allan!
I'd describe the crowd as..Good, but I think there could've been a little more love shown as a whole.
Onstage antics:
Onstage set design: amazing!! Ali had her friends the owls and gnome on the piano!
Onstage fashion: Ali had a beautiful blue dress and heels on!! She is so beautiful in person too!!
Offstage antics: ----
Backstage antics: ----
The highlight of the show was... Meeting Ali after!!! I was so excited! The best day of my life.
Most awesome song/performance: The whole thing!! I'm just in awe of her. Every song was perfect.
Best heard live: Ashes and wine is just my favorite, they all sounded amazing. At one point during this song her voice would echo and it was freakin awesome!!!!!
Weakest song: There is no weakness from Alison Sudol.
Wish they would have played: Well, she only left out one song so i guess it would be that one. Lifesize. But only one left out is good.
Quote of the night: "What I Wouldn't Do" The name of the new song.
My review in one word: Amazing!!
