Topic says it all or list however many you want to.
My favorites: 1. Near To You 2. Lifesize (IMO it would make a great single) 3. You Picked Me
I think it's a really good sign that my favorite songs weren't even the released singles. It just proves that she's a great musician/songwriter.

Hi, I'm new to this whole wetpaint wiki web 2.0 thing, but I'd love to contribute to this project. I've made a little fansite (the 1st German AFF fansite) and maybe the Admin of this fan wiki can add the URL to the Weblinks Section because I'm unable to edit the main page. It's http://www.alisonsudol.de. Please check it out and tell me what you think.
Thx

A Fine Frenzy was opening on the Uk part of the European tour for Ben's brother so I expected some loud talking in the back and that's what happened but Alison played brilliantly throughout the 9-song set. She seemed so much more confident compared to what I saw in brussels but it must be because of the context of the show, bigger crowd, less intimate place. however, she was the happiest person that night as she was smiling so big during the whole set. you should check the video of "what I wouldn't do", she's jumping all around like a wild happy wallaby... so sweet Ali ! I missed her after the show but well, I'm damn sure i'll go and see her anytime I can cos' she's really really amazingly talented and funny. Also, you can see some wardrobe malfunction at times and she laughs about it too...
i stayed for the main act Ben's brother afterwards and they play some cool music too, a bit too mellow though but still nice enough to make me stay hehe. Well, i stay right next to the backdoor...
one blunder on my way to the venue : i thought it was Carling academy Brixton while it was actually islington and for those who know London the place is at the opposite of Brixton on the Victoria line, how dumb i am... but i still managed to be the 4th person in the waiting line like 20 minutes before they opened the doors, which would be totally impossible at a Brandi Carlile show (i saw 3 Brandi Carlile shows the same week in England). i guess Ben's brother fans are not as crazy as ATers so i thank them for letting me go first row lol...

A Fine Frenzy can do no wrong but has anybody heard Alison's first CD (when she was known as Alison Monro)? It is the EP release "Monro" which features an 18-year-old Alison and a group of LA musicians. It really is very good, though she has obviously honed her skills since then :)
I can provide some active links if anybody is interested in hearing it?

So looking over the website, I'm basically assuming that there's some sort of re-release of One Cell In the Sea with brand new cover art. I bought the original cd around the time it came out, but because I really like the picture of Alison that the website now seems to be using to advertise One Cell In the Sea I went to a few stores with the intent of purchasing a brand new copy, but I only found the original release with the cardboard casing. Basically, is there is a cd with new cover art available? Will it ever be available in stores or is it an online only kind of thing?

I just recently bought the new one last week, and as far as I can tell, there isn't any difference in the actual music. The cd is designed differently, and there are a lot more pictures of ali in the booklet; but that's about it i think.

Any of you guys heard of her music? She took Cypress Hill's "How Could I Kill a Man" and totally flips it into her own style. I love artists who take risks like that. Charlotte Sometimes has that classic, melodic sound. Here's a link to her IMEEM if you wanna hear her songs!

So anyway, the latest newsletter from Frontier Touring Co (http://www1.frontiertouring.com.au/mailing/newsletter/march08/) states
"...If you think that's big, though, head to our website on March 27. We're announcing a tour that may just send y'all into a frenzy... Intrigued? You should be!"
with 'frenzy' in bold. A Fine Frenzy is the only 'frenzy' band that I am aware of that might possibly be announcing an Australian tour so I guess we'll know on March 27th!
